Dominant plagioclase feldspar and hornblende varieties are the only ferromagnesian silicate grains, some rock fragments with glassy to felsitic (devitrified glass) internal textures, moderately sorted, subangular to subrounded, fine to medium volcanic sand of probable fluvial origin.
Non-hornblendic volcanic sand temper.
Quartzo-feldspathic sand lacking any calcareous grains of coastal origin and probably collected as stream sand. Felspars are plagioclase.

Calcareous and grains of chrome spinel (translucent red, isotropic), diagnostic of derivation from peridotite.
Calcareous and grains of argillite of sedimentary or metasedimentary origin.
