Pohnpei hybrid

Optically amorphous chitinous grains of tan coloration derived from crab or echinoid shells. Glassy rock fragments, microcrystalline volcanic rock fragments, clinopyroxenes, opaques and plagioclase.

Fabric Class:

Calcareous: Dominated by calcareous inclusions.

Oceanic Basalt: Mainly contain olivines, clinopyroxenes and plagioclase, and have lathwork and mafic vitric lithic fragments.
