Samoan calcareous

Altered red vitric, picritic basaltic lithics. More clinopyroxene than olivine.

Fabric Class:

Calcareous: Dominated by calcareous inclusions.

Oceanic Basalt: Mainly contain olivines, clinopyroxenes and plagioclase, and have lathwork and mafic vitric lithic fragments.
