Samoan ferromagnesian crystal

Subset of Samoan ferromagnesian. Olivines equal or more than pyroxenes. Vitric and picritic basaltic lithics. Oliviines often altered to iddingsite.

Fabric Class:

Igneous Olivine: Dominated by igneous lithic inclusions with olivines.

Oceanic Basalt: Mainly contain olivines, clinopyroxenes and plagioclase, and have lathwork and mafic vitric lithic fragments.
