Banda hornblendic

Hornblende-bearing mineralogically and texturally unlike pyroxene-bearing. Possibly previously had calcareous grains.

Fabric Class:

Feldspathic Igneous-Amphibolic: Dominated by feldspar inclusions, with igneous lithics and amphiboles.

Andesitic Arc: Dominated by andesite and basalt lithic fragments, with microlitic, felsitic and vitric textures, and the andesite minerals (plagioclase, clinopyroxene and sometimes hornblende).
