Northcoast PNG type F

Type F, Abundant natural temper with sparse lithic fragments apparently added manually. Clinopyroxene and orthopyroxene present.

Fabric Class:

Microphaneritic: Dominated by microphaneritic inclusions.

Dissected Orogen: Dominated by plutonic lithics such as microgranite, and those with microphaneritic textures, as well as metavolcanics. They have K-feldspars dominate, in addition to plagioclase.
