Podtanean (2900-2200 BP)

Found in both South and North Grand Terre, and Ile des Pines. Paddle-impressed pottery lightly carinated pots. Early part has narrow paddle-impressions on thin-walled pots with flat lipped rims. The grooves become larger and pots thicker and more rounded forms. Slab-built.
