CAUTION: Section less than 30microns. Mainly angular plagioclase feldspar grains (20%) about 0.2mm across which are partly sericitized . Some shelly fragments (<1%) are elongate to subrounded and up to 1 mm. Volcanic rock fragments (<5%) are mainly plagioclase rich consisting of microlites , minor clay and opaques. These grains are between 00.1 and 0.3 mm across. There are small granular mosaics about 0.25nm across (5%) of quartz and feldspar. The opaque minerals (<1%) are subrounded and green.
