Lapita style. CAUTION: Section less than 30microns. This sample contains colourless to pale green pyroxene crystals (10%) up to 0.4 mm in length. Angular feldspar grains are up to 0.3 mm in length and there is less than 5%. There are rare grains of volcanic rock fragments up to 0.4 mm across, elongate to rounded ferruginized clasts of clay up to 2 mm in length, and carbonate shell fragments, about 0.5 mm across.
