Santa Cruz hornblende-feldspar

Placer green-brown hornblende, with opaque iron oxides with feldspars. Exotic. Microlitics are hyalopilitic.

Fabric Class:

Feldspathic Igneous-Amphibolic: Dominated by feldspar inclusions, with igneous lithics and amphiboles.

Andesitic Arc: Dominated by andesite and basalt lithic fragments, with microlitic, felsitic and vitric textures, and the andesite minerals (plagioclase, clinopyroxene and sometimes hornblende).
