550 has a full slide scan available. Imaged by K. Hardy and M. Leclerc, ANU.
Similar to those in Nasilai tempers (Rewa Delta, Fiji). Common plutonic quartz grains, altered and calcic plagioclase grains, K-feldspar,hornblende and clinopyroxene. Sands of probable fluvial origin volcanic and metavolcanic rocks with felsitic to microlitic internal textures; sedimentary and metasedimentary rocks including microgranular siltstone or hornfels, foliated slate or phyllite, chert, and argillite; and microgranular hypabyssal or plutonic igneous rocks.
Exotic Marquesan sherd. Poorly sorted, subrounded to subangular, fine- to coarse-grained sand temper of probable fluvial origin.

Possibly from the Rewa delta. High quartz.
High quartz. Possibly Rewa Delta but may be indigenous Sigatoka sherds. Feldspars include K-feldspars as well as plagioclase. 1993 excavated samples.
