Palau grog type B/C/D

Mixtures of grog particles and terrigenous grains (terrigenous grains more abundant than grog particles). Grains either felsic or mafic.

Fabric Class:

Opaque: Dominated by opaque inclusions.

Andesitic Arc: Dominated by andesite and basalt lithic fragments, with microlitic, felsitic and vitric textures, and the andesite minerals (plagioclase, clinopyroxene and sometimes hornblende).
